John and Jennifer Casey created Long Ridge Camping Center (LRCC) to give workers at the NUCOR facility in Apple Grove a comfortable place to stay—just 4.5 miles from the site. When they saw that nearby campgrounds could mean a 45-minute to one-hour drive each way, they set out to offer a closer place to unwind after a long day.

LRCC is also conveniently located for area employers and development projects. Toyota’s manufacturing plant and Google’s planned data center in Buffalo are about 20 minutes away.
Other regional developments include the Monarch Compute Campus, the Frontieras project near Point Pleasant, and Project Tamarackin West Columbia. Though close to area work sites, the campground is nestled in the countryside, away from highway and railroad noise. John spent nearly 16 years working on the road, often putting in 10- to 14-hour days, and understands the value of a good night’s rest. That experience shapes our commitment to providing a welcoming, restful place to stay—whether you’re here for a short-term assignment or seeking a long-term or permanent campsite.

At Long Ridge Camping Center (LRCC), we make camping comfortable and convenient. Every site includes full hookups with 30- or 50-amp electric, water, sewer, and trash service. Our spacious gravel back-in sites accommodate RVs up to 45 feet, including slide-outs.

Our on-site laundry and recreation area features six washers, six dryers, a pool table, a flat-screen TV, seating, and folding tables. Laundry and facility use are available for an additional fee.
We also offer on-site propane refills at competitive local prices.
The long ridge campground is situated on over 130 acres, featuring riding and hiking trails, a stocked fishing pond, and picturesque views that look & feel straight off of a postcard.
